U20 WAFU Zone B Cup: "Go And Make Nigerians Proud" - Minister Charges Flying Eagles

Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare has charged the Flying Eagles to make Nigeria proud by winning the WAFU competition in Cotonu which begins on Saturday.
The seven-time African champions are in group B alongside Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire to fight for top position in the 2020 WAFU U20 Zone B Cup.
Speaking during a visit to the team's training in Abuja, Mr Dare said: "The Flying Eagles have always made us proud, go there and make Nigerians proud. We believe you are young, talented and determined. Your coaches have impacted much on you, go there and come back victorious"
The team is expected to depart for the competition on Friday via Lagos. Nigeria plays her first match against Cote d' Ivoire on Sunday.
The championship will also serve as CAF U20 African Nations Cup qualifiers where teams will pick their tickets to the World Youth Championship.
